I first tried Sicilia Coffee a couple of years ago, when my son bought a Gaggia manual espresso machine and he insisted that fresh coffee makes all the difference in the resulting brew.
I didn't believe him but humoured him.
He was right.
The minute he made coffee with Sicilia coffee, suddenly the depth and nuances of the flavour was tangible.
Fast forward two years. We got a manual espresso machine and the first thing I did, was brewed a coffee using the coffee beans we had at home (some supermarket brand).
The coffee was very disappointing and ran through the machine like dishwater.

Even though I bought the basic coffee beans, the espresso you get from them is divine.
