FAQ

If you require your order within 7 business days, we recommend selecting Australia Post Express.

Deliveries can be made between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. (including weekends), and all our parcels do not require a signature by default. If you require a signature for your parcel or need to provide delivery instructions, please leave a brief note on the cart page (e.g. 'signature required' or 'deliver to mailroom'). For more information on postage, please see below.

Who is Sicilia Coffee?
We are a South Australian, small family-owned business. At Sicilia Coffee we select top quality imported green beans from the best-known coffee regions in the world and we expertly roast by hand and carefully blend.

When will I receive my order?
If you've placed an order rest assured that it is being processed and you'll receive an update via email as soon as it's shipped. We receive a large volume of emails, and being a small team we're not always behind the computer. If your question isn't urgent, we kindly ask for your patience - we promise we'll get back to you as soon as we can. 

I have a cafe/office/wholesale business, can I get a price list?
Of course! Either email sales@siciliacoffee.com or call us on 0403 623 607. We have affordable pricing, no lock-in contracts, and fantastic customer service.

I don't want to sound rude, but why is your coffee so cheap? Does that mean your coffee tastes cheap?
We get asked this a lot. Simple answer: we have low overheads, great coffee suppliers, and a small marketing budget. That means we can pass on the savings to you! We rely heavily on word of mouth, so tell your friends! If you like what we do then please leave a review on the product page. 

What are your shipping options?
Great question! They are:

Courier: 

  • Up to 2kg $8
  • 3kg to 5kg $7
  • Anything over 5kg is $5 per 5kg (e.g. 10kg for $10)

1-10 business days (from dispatch date, depending on location). Make a note on the shopping cart page if the courier has authority to leave at your door. Please note couriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.

Australia Post Express:
1-6 business days (depending on location)

Australia Post Parcel Connect:
2-10 business days (from dispatch date, depending on location). This option would suit those who have a PO Box, Parcel Locker, Parcel Connect customers, or those who live in WA - Australia Post has a faster delivery rate to WA compared to couriers. 

You say your coffee is fresh, but how fresh is it?
Our coffee doesn't sit on our shelves gathering dust - we roast to demand. It is then heat sealed in a special purpose bag to lock in the aromatic oils, and features a one-way valve to retain the flavour but prevent air ingress.

I live in Adelaide, can I drop in and buy some coffee?
You sure can! We're located at 821 Main North Road, Pooraka. We recommend that you give us a buzz ahead of time on 08 8262 2323 to make sure we’re on site, and to make sure the coffee that you’re after is in stock. As we roast to demand it can happen that we’re out of stock for the day.

Our opening hours are 9am to 2pm Mon – Fri, but being a small family business life happens and we sometimes open later or finish earlier.

Can you grind the coffee for me?
We offer a grinding service which can be added to your cart here. Please note that our default grind setting is medium, however you can specify the grind type that suits you.
