ORGANIC DECAF: A taste of chocolate, malt and hazelnuts with buttery florals in this cup of coffee that has medium body and acidity. These are fair trade and  organically grown coffee beans and have been decaffeinated via the mountain water process. The coffee beans appear darker in colour, although this is not a dark roast.

We do not use a chemical extraction process; we only use beans that have the caffeine removed via a natural water extraction process, which also ensures the retention of the original coffee flavours.

Excellent decaf

I love that Sicilia offer several quality decaf options, which most roasters don't.
This coffee is consistently good and if I serve it to a regular coffee drinker, I wait for the "good coffee" comment before I tell them!

My husband and I swapped to the decaf not too long ago and think that this brand of coffee would have to be one of the best, especially for its price. We love the taste, not bitter at all. We enjoy this organic decaf coffee in a long black or latte with soy milk. Superb!

Organic Decaf Beans - Water Washed/no chemicals

Enjoying this coffee, just worried that you do not state "water washed/non chemical decafinated" on the packaging although it states this in the website. I would not purchase if chemically treated to remove the caffeine . I would love written confirmation before I process another order. Thanks Kirsten
